What kind of income is verified to qualify for the new mortgage

Only the current or proposed market rental income will be used to qualify for the new payment.  No other income is utilized or needed.  If the property will be used for Airbnb or VRBO then that future market rent is used to qualify for the new proposed mortgage payment, even if the property is vacant at the time of closing. 

Can I be self-employed?
